NASB: Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each. (NASB ©1995) GWT: Six stone water jars were there. They were used for Jewish purification rituals. Each jar held 18 to 27 gallons. (GOD'S WORD®) KJV: And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
