NASB: A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so they put a sponge full of the sour wine upon [a branch] [of] hyssop and brought it up to His mouth. (NASB ©1995)
GWT: A jar filled with vinegar was there. So the soldiers put a sponge soaked in the vinegar on a hyssop stick and held it to his mouth. (GOD'S WORD®)
KJV: Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
