NASB: So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. (NASB ©1995) GWT: These two men took the body of Jesus and bound it with strips of linen. They laced the strips with spices. This was the Jewish custom for burial. (GOD'S WORD®) KJV: Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.
