7:11 [In] {i} the day that thy walls are to be built, [in] that day shall {k} the decree be far removed.
(i) That is, when God will show himself to be a deliverer of his Church, and a destroyer of his enemies.
(k) Meaning the cruel empire of the Babylonians.

WES:

7:11 Thy walls - O Jerusalem. The decree - Of Artaxerxes, which forbad the re - building of the temple. Removed - Abolished.

MHC:

7:8-13 Those truly penitent for sin, will see great reason to be patient under affliction. When we complain to the Lord of the badness of the times, we ought to complain against ourselves for the badness of our hearts. We must depend upon God to work deliverance for us in due time.
