On the morning of the fifth day, the Levite got up early to leave. The woman's father said, "Eat something to keep up your strength!" So they spent the time eating until late afternoon.(GOD'S WORD®)

19:8 And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart: and the damsel's father said, {b} Comfort thine heart, I pray thee. And they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat both of them.
(b) Meaning, that he should refresh himself with food, as in Jud 19:5.

MHC:

17:7-13 Micah thought it was a sign of God's favour to him and his images, that a Levite should come to his door. Thus those who please themselves with their own delusions, if Providence unexpectedly bring any thing to their hands that further them in their evil way, are apt from thence to think that God is pleased with them.
