Commentaries and Concordances
PNT: 19:11,12 God wrought special miracles. If miracles are wrought, it is always God's work, and he can work them as he wills. In this case, in order to magnify the name of his preacher, he left his power go with articles that were carried from Paul to the sick. The Lord, in his wisdom, can make use of any instrument he chooses.
WES: 19:12 Evil spirits - Who also occasioned many of those diseases, which yet might appear to be purely natural.
MHC: 19:8-12 When arguments and persuasions only harden men in unbelief and blasphemy, we must separate ourselves and others from such unholy company. God was pleased to confirm the teaching of these holy men of old, that if their hearers believed them not, they might believe the works.
