NASB: Agrippa said to Paul, "You are permitted to speak for yourself." Then Paul stretched out his hand and [proceeded] to make his defense: (NASB ©1995) GWT: Agrippa said to Paul, "You're free to speak for yourself." Paul acknowledged King Agrippa and then began his defense. (GOD'S WORD®) KJV: Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself: ASV: And Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself.
