NASB: So the three broke through the camp of the Philistines and drew water from the well of Bethlehem which [was] by the gate, and took [it] and brought [it] to David; nevertheless David would not drink it, but poured it out to the LORD; (NASB ©1995) GWT: So the three burst into the Philistine camp and drew water from the cistern. They brought it to David, but he refused to drink it.
