NASB: When Jesus saw him lying [there], and knew that he had already been a long time [in that condition], He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?" (NASB ©1995) GWT: Jesus saw the man lying there and knew that he had been sick for a long time. So Jesus asked the man, "Would you like to get well?"
