NASB: The bellows blow fiercely, The lead is consumed by the fire; In vain the refining goes on, But the wicked are not separated. (NASB ©1995) GWT: The bellows of the blast furnace blow fiercely to make the fire melt away the lead. It is useless to go on refining because the impurities can't be removed. (GOD'S WORD®) KJV: The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.
