Hebrews 4:1 | |
NASB: Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. (NASB ©1995) GWT: God's promise that we may enter his place of rest still stands. We are afraid that some of you think you won't enter his place of rest. (GOD'S WORD®) KJV: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. ASV: Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it. BBE: Let us then, though we still have God's word that we may come into his rest, go in fear that some of you may be unable to do so. DBY: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you might seem to have failed of it. WEY: Therefore let us be on our guard lest perhaps, while He still leaves us a promise of being admitted to His rest, some one of you should be found to have fallen short of it. WBS: Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. WEB: Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest. YLT: We may fear, then, lest a promise being left of entering into His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short, | |
