12:27 And Jehoiada [was] the leader of the {i} Aaronites, and with him [were] three thousand and seven hundred;
(i) Of the Levites who came by the descent of Aaron.
12:27 Jehoida - Not the high - priest, for that was Abiathar, 1Sam 23:6, but one of eminent place under him.
12:23-40 When the throne of Christ is set up in a soul, there is, or ought to be, great joy in that soul; and provision is made, not as here, for a few days, but for the whole life, and for eternity.
